Mrs. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural and bilingual social worker. She has more than 13 years of experience working with non-profit organizations. She's worked across a range of groups, including LGBTQ+ people, substance users, as well as survivors of intimate partner violence. Since the beginning of 2019 she has been working with Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's patients. The clinic now offers telehealth Behavioral Health services. Ms. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Healthcare Perinatal team, which works with post-partum and prenatal mothers, provides trauma-informed therapy for adult patients and is an expert in trauma-related care. She also offers group and private counseling sessions, a Medication Assist Treatment program, referrals to specialty care, and a Women's Support Group. Amanda is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society, helping homeless animals find forever home. She shares her belief in the Best Friends motto, Save Them All, and would like to have Los Angeles turn into a "no kill" city. Amanda always strives to get maximum value from each day.
